Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home for Donald Lee Groves, 35, of 1821 Fremont St., who died at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital. Groves was involved in a one-car accident four hours earlier in Milligan Park. An employe of Mid-States Steel and Wire Co. Inc., he served in the National Guard three years and was a military policeman in the U.S. Army two years. A 1955 graduate of Crawfordsville High School, he was a member of the Smartsburg Christian Church and Moose Lodge. Born Feb. 10, 1937, he was a son of William M. and Margaret Crowder Groves. Survivors include the parents of Crawfordsville; a brother, Billy Joe of New Market; a sister, Mrs. Fred Edwards of Indianapolis, and grandparents, Mrs. Wiley Crowder of Waynetown and Ed Groves of New Market. Rev. Merle Sparger will officiate the funeral services. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.--waw
